The following servers are checked in realtime.

Got a server? add it here.

Cannot #EXEC '/bin/quake.status2.pl' due to lack of EXECUTE permission

NOTES:
  • Time Connected is the elapsed time since the player joined the server, not how long the player has been playing the current level.
  • Teamplay. Indicates what team rules are in effect. Players with the same pants color are on the same team. A lot of options can be configured with this mod. The majority of these options are configurable using the teamplay variable. This mod uses the teamplay variable as a bitfield, with each bit associated with a different teamplay option. Add these values to determine the servers team play:
    • 1 Health Protect - Players receive no health damage from teammates' attacks.
    • 2 Armor Protect - Players receive no armor damage from teammates' attacks.
    • 4 Damage to Attacker - A player who attacks his teammate will receive the same damage the teammate would have received, had he not been protected.
    • 8 Frag Penalty - Any player who kills his teammate will be penalized frags. The number of frags to penalize is adjustable by a simple edit in the teamplay.qc file.
    • 16 Death Penalty - Any player who kills his teammate will burst apart in a bloody mess.
    • 32 Team Color Lock - Players will only be allowed to be certain colors. Team colors can be specified for up to four teams in the teamplay.qc file. Players who have illegal colors when they enter will be put into the team with the fewest members. Any player who changes team (pants color) will be fragged and their frag count is reset to zero.
    • 64 Static Teams - Players will not be allowed to change teams.
    • 128 Drop Items - Players will be allowed to drop ammo and weapons. IMPULSE 20 will drop a backpack and IMPULSE 21 will drop the current weapon. You can't drop the axe or single-shotgun.
    • 256 Capture the Flag - This enables Capture the Flag support. Not setting your teamplay bitfield to this would enable your Super Deathmatch server support.
    • 512 Custom Capture the Flag - This enables the use of new sounds, models, maps and skins for Capture the Flag. If you enable this, your clients must download the CTF custom pak file and install it. ***NOTE: Not in QW version, assumes custom
    • 1024 Observer Mode - This enables observer mode so players aren't forced to a team upon joining.
    • 2048 Toss Weapons - Allows you to throw weapons to team members. Weapons that are given to players when they pick up a rune are not allowed to be thrown. But might show up in their backpacks if you kill them.
    • 4096 Random Item Spawn - This will spawn random items on the server. Health kits, ammo, and armor only - this wont spawn Quads and things like that!
    • 8192 Player Pick-up Flag. - This setting will allow a player to pick up their teams flag for extra base security. Impulse 81 picks up the flag. Impulse 82 returns it. The player does not need to be in the same area of their flag to return it. Finally, Impulse 23 will display the flags status so you can read find who's name is holding which flag, or if it is at your base.
    • 16384 Enable CTFStart map - This will force a server to return to the Threewave CTFStart map after completion of an episode.
    • 32768 Team Random Base - This will randomly choose which side of the map the bases will be. This may make 3WCTF maps confusing since they are colored half red and half blue - but makes the game that much more interesting.
    • 65536 Team Pick Bases - Setting this value will allow players 1 minute at the start of the level to hide their flag base at somewhere other then the default location. Players are randomly picked per team. And use the Axe to set the new location.
    • 131072 Preferred Levels - This runs the server with the "preferred" levels. These levels are; E1M1, E1M2, E1M3, E1M4, E1M5, E1M6, E2M1, E2M2, E2M3, E2M5, E4M3, E4M4, E4M5, E4M6, DM3, and DM6.
    • 262144 Observer Time Limit - This setting will give the observer XX number of seconds to join the game. If the observer does not choose a team in that time, they will be ejected from the server to allow another person to join and play. This is primarily for servers that can only run with a limited number of clients or for servers that are often full and would like to have only active players in game.
    • 524288 M4d Sk1llz - M4d Sk1llz is a power-up based on random chance and loosing team status. It will give one player on the loosing team titanium shot for their shotgun and they have XX rounds with that gun, affectionately named the Street Sweeper. Currently, this number is set at three shots.
    • 1048576 Power-up - When a player respawns, they will have full armor and ammunition, and be ready for immediate battle. This setting was made for test and practices, but it's fun enough to leave in the game for public servers.
    • 2097152 Sonic Hook - Massive Grapple Hook speed increase. This setting will enable the grapple hook's turbo mode, which will allow the hook to travel faster, grapple quicker, and pull the player quicker then the standard hook.
  • Allow Exit prevents or enables players from ending the level by entering the slipgate. When 'exiting' is not allowed (1), any player who enters the slipgate dies. A special mode only allows exiting from the start level. When exiting isn't allowed, reaching either the timelimit or fraglimit is the only way to move to another level. NoExit 2 does not allow players to exit, ending the level, or kill players for attempting to exit. (default = Yes 0)

  • Fraglimit causes a new level to be loaded when any player reaches this number of frags. (default = None)

  • Timelimit determines how long gameplay will last for each level in minutes. When the timelimit expires, the server loads another level. (default = None)
